Product Description
The PLRD125 is a roof-mount TFT LCD monitor with built-in DVD player that has everything you need to keep the back seat occupied. The 12.1" widescreen monitor is brilliant, boasting a 500:1 contrast ratio and 800 x 600 resolution. Swivel the screen left and right, up to 320 degrees, so everyone can watch. To watch a DVD, simply insert it in the slot. This unit can play DVDs, CD, CD-R, MP3 CD and SD cards, and the RCA inputs let you attach another device, like an iPod. The PLRD125 even has a built-in video game system and includes a games disc plus two joysticks for endless multiplayer fun. It's equipped with a built in FM transmitter for crystal-clear sound through your existing FM stereo, or use wireless IR headphones. The anti-skip mechanism helps you through those bumpy trips, and last position memory lets you pick up right where you left off. Control using the front push button controls or the fully functional wireless remote control. The overhead console has twin dome LED lights for needed illumination. Includes mounting hardware and installation instructions.

Grrrrrrrr rats!!!!

OK so I bought this "thing" a real pile!!! If u get my meaning--'' having dealt with electronics for years I have learned , prior to installing , test the unit first!!! So I put 12 volts on it and put a DVD in .....loading,,,loading,,,loading,,,loading..........loading,,,,,,,,,loading.........No Disk...so I tried a different dvd'''same and same and same again and again.......finally one DVD worked out of 8 I tried....OK so the unit has issues....typical for Chinese made cheap stuff.... hooked up the dome light that is part of the unit .....the switch was shot...more cheap junk....packed the unit up, got a pre paid return label off the computer from amazon returns, and sent it packing back to amazon... now all ways buy through amazon cause if u get a defective item they cross ship a replacement almost the same day you file for it and the replacement is to you in 3 to 4 days,.....I've had to do this several times and never had issues with them. .cudos to amazon..as for Pyle ...stay tuned for the pyle up! once I get the replacement Pyle .

Not good. Dome light wires were pinched in packaging and wires were losing connection inside the insulation. Took me a while figure out why the lights went out i lifted the unit to the ceiling. Reconnected everything several times to figure out it was a short in the wire, replaced the bad wire and it worked fine. Once it was up, the DVD wouldn't play. "No disc" it said. Made some funny noises (i wasn't laughing) and wouldn't play. I tried the dvd in another player and it worked fine. Already got the return label and it is going back for a refund. Wasted 3 hours fooling around with this thing.

I've tried everything except the gaming cd and joysticks so not much input on those.I should have paid for an install it took FOREVER!Nothing wrong with the player everything shipped out ok. The directions were ooook 2, customer service on the other hand were great help pointing me in the right direction getting a manual on-line.So this is a good choice, recommend purchase....also recommend finding your power source before you start install. I ended up taping into the dome light, not my first choice but it worked. Like i said the products great, picture video cdplayer...all parts are awesome, install sucked.
