Blatantly false information.

The product description for this is an absolute lie. I took a gamble with this and lost.For starters, this is NOT A TOUCH SCREEN, despite the product description mentioning a touch screen in all three lines.The resolution is also 320x240 instead of the claimed 1200x800. The below link is a picture of the specifications page of the product manual.[...]In addition, the unit is a single-DIN form factor, not the 1.5-DIN claimed. It also has a depth of approximately 7", for those who might want to know.The manual is also not nearly as clear or comprehensive as the other reviewer makes it out to be. The product appears to be perfectly functional, but it's not the product that is advertised. Needless to say, I will be returning this immediately.

Great little package with only one minor glitch

This stereo was bought for use on a boat, the fact it came unanounced with an off air television tuner and fittings to connect it was a very pleasant surprise.The audio quality is excellent, the standard radio features are all there and a big bonus is that the remote works reliably across a boat salon.The image on the 4" screen is very high quality, but we use it on a 32" HD television, and that's where it loses one star. The image quality is still excellent, but the DVD player needs told which system its on and for which continent - for us it's a niggle, as if you don't do it the screen's prone to an annoying flicker when watching the "wrong" format. If its going into a car and your DVD's are all bought in one country, you'll never know about this - just set and forget.The manual and instructions are very clear.The diplay can be backlit to coordinate whatever colour your dash lighting is - a big plus, everything matches for us.When we first used the DVD it was tight to open and close, almost to the "am I going to break this" but after several uses everything eased off and is working well.Would we recommend it, absoulutely. If you're a true audiophile you might find more issues than we did, but for the great majority its an excellent unit with good power, great looks and interchangeable versatility at a very reasonable price point.Enjoy it - that's what we're doing.
