Good System but some flaws.

I recently purchased this system and overall very pleased with it. There are a few flaws though, like the volume knob. It's small and slips through your fingers. I don't have big mutten hands but for those who do be ware. lol The touch screen is a little slow to respond but that may be due to the fact that I have mine in front of the vent with the A/C on. The overall performance is very good. The sounds quality with my stock speakers are excellent and DVD's play awesome! I also play tunes from my iPhone and with the ipod jack it works great. Another flaw is the display, if screen is closed it is sometimes hard to read what is on the display. If you have a stereo set low in your vehicle you are going to have a hard time reading what's on there. I think the negatives to me are minor and that ios why I gave it a four stars. The overall performance of the system is excellent. For the low price range of the system compared to other in the same price range, I think you get a good bang for your buck with this Dual system.

OK - with glitches

I bouth this because I did not want to spend the money to buy a Sony which was much more expensive. When I received it after 2 weeks the screen would not come out on it's own. When I contatced customer service to get the return info and tell them what happened I had to give them a lot of detail as to what was going. Luckily I knew because I had taken it back to the installer to have ot taken out. I should not have to do that if it is not working properly they should be able to check it and figure it out. I sent it back and they honored their repair policy, whcih was great. i still have it but it is having problems coming out again. It definitely will not come out if the car has been sitting liie overnight. It will not come out first think in the morning, you have to wait until it warms up I guess. I now have to hit the buton to open and then give a light pull for it to come out. It appears to have some sort of latch whcih is not releasing it right away. I am contemplating sending it back, but I will then have to pay for repair charges. I do like the controls they are easy, and the screen is bright enough, the picture for the DCD is very clear. Could be just my model but I was told that the product was not the best.

Terrible product. Do not buy

I bought this product for my car thinking it would be a cool deck and would be different from any other ordinary deck and i was right. I thought it was really cool and so did my friends, the display graphics where a little old but I could deal with that.It worked great for about 3 or so months and then the display started to flicker and eventually the display went out completely and my music would stop playing when I opened up the screen. I sent it in and they sent me back a refurbished one and it worked fine so i was happy again. then about a month or 2 later the same exact thing happened. Display went to black and music shut off and I was unable to use the touch screen. (the whole reason I bought the stupid thing..)My advice is to find something better, perhaps a double din. Not worth the $230 some dollars I paid for it. really unsatisfied with this product.
