Great System; Awesome Price

Couldn't be more pleased with this rig. Installed in my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 when my OEM stereo quit working. Installation was simple with a Metra wiring harness. Hardest part was removing existing amplifier behind the glove compartment. Hint: simply attach the parking brake lead to any ground to bypass the DVD view lockout. Great intuitive GUI. Superb sound.

This is a very nice radio for the money. The HD Radio was something new to me and shows song info on the screen. We did not replace the speakers which I assume would be an improvement in sound. We used the factory speakers. The back up camera is slow to engage when first starting the car. It will work if you wait but most people won't put the back up camera on their radio so it won't be an issue for them. This radio has lots of options. We did not run into the problems stated by a few here. Sound is not loud when turning it on. Only thing I don't like is that when you turn your car off you have to go back and pick the HD Radio if that was what you were listening too. Other than that no problems.

It is ok

Huge upgrade from a 2000 flip up I had. I have a JL amp and sub and they hit harder then ever. The touch screen if very good. The screen cuts every now and then. The product is very easy to install. Shipped super fast. Havnt had a reason to complain about the product yet. Good buy and great price for a lower end flip out head unit
