Product Description
The UV8035 receiver by Jensen makes it easy to control all your media sources while driving in your car. It is effortless to use and the touch screen makes it easy to navigate through radio stations or songs on your iPod. It features a full color 3.5-inch widescreen digital TFT display with 960x234 resolution. Color, contrast and brightness are adjustable so that you can set it to your desired settings. Adjust the output of your rear speakers and internal amplifier with the on/off selection. The UV8035 has a front A/V input and includes a 3.5mm A/V cable to allow easy connectivity of personal media devices. It is compatible with DVD-R/RW and CD-R/RW and will support MP3 and WMA files via the SD card reader or DVD. IR remote control included.

Phase Linear UV8035 - Do not recommend !

Bought this little stereo to replace the factory one in my 2000 Chev Pickup. One feature that I wanted was the ability to play MP3 music from a SD card and to be able to use the display with a backup camera. When you buy the correct adaptor plug and mounting kit the project goes pretty well. The FM works well however the controls are quite different from the norm and take a little getting use to. You may want to keep the manual near by. Playing music from a SD card works very well but you do not get to display the time (it may do it but so far I have not figured it out). Nice little unit for the price, the sound is good but keep the manual handy since it can do a great many things through the different menus.Have not tested the CD yet (may never use it) but will let you know when I find a good backup camera.Thats my story and I am sticking to it.UpdateLess than a year old and now the unit has failed, Intermittent problems centering around the removable face plate. Cleaned the contacts and still it is problematic. Now it tries to play the radio with the media card running in the background when it tries to work at all. Display blinks on and off and the face will not move to allow access to the CD. There was a time when the name Phase Linear meant you were getting a quality piece of electronics equipment but no more. I would give this one star on a good day.
