It is an experience buying this product because here in my country (Venezuela) are more inclined towards another brand of players. But I am pleased to say that I am pleased with this that I acquired, as is quality and high strength. I recommend it for being very good product.

Good Less Expensive Radio

I have had this radio for a week now and used it on 1 trip, so far so good. Install was a snap once I got the right wiring harness for my 2001 Silverado. I have played dvd's in it and they look and sound good.The Bluetooth works great. It has connected every time to my phone when I start my truck and phone quality sounds good. The input switching on this unit is automatic when it comes to the Bluetooth. When ever something plays from my phone, whether it is phone calls or music, the radio automatically switches to the Bluetooth and back to the mode I had it in once it is done. This is great most of the time. The only time it is annoying is when travelling and streaming Pandora and you lose internet. It auto switches to radio which is at a different volume level.. there have been a few times when I went out of town last week where I was surprised by the radio blasting away because I didn't have the audio levels set very high when streaming Pandora.The only down side for me is the giant blue screen.. The display is nice, but boss could of had a really nice system here if they had just take a little bit more time and allowed either backdrops for the display when in radio mode or selective background colors. As it is, when the radio is on, the whole display is BLUE and I mean bright Windows screen of death blue. The radio station and other info is displayed in lighter white font. Since there isn't a dimmer line on the back of this radio, it makes the blue screen pretty dark at night. This product is a nice looking unit,no doubt about that,I do agree with other postings that I really dont like the way the face plate removes,it IS likely that it may break the catch if frequently removed,mine will remain in place most of the time so I will be careful with it. The screen is actually a very nice size for a single din stereo,picture quality is very good pictures are crisp and clear,the sound quality from the radio is good,not great,but with an amp that should remedy the problem,(the unit is loud but does have limitations),there is adjustment on the unit but I personally think it is designed with expansion in mind,I like the front and rear USB ports,a good idea,caters for everything except night time illumination,so the blue can be distracting,I am sure,in certain vehicles that the radio is mounted higher up in the dash.Can add additional monitors,an amp,sub etc,even caters for electric antennas,nice touch for a very reasonably priced unit.The bluetooth connects with no issue,but as with all units that have built in microphones instead of a microphone than can be mounted anywhere in the car,it does have certain limitations,is very nice that when a call comes in the unit turns down the music automatically.I cant help but think the stereo is very dependant on the remote,even for some very basic controls,but they do interact very well,supposed to be line of sight but I havent had any issues,(this went in a restored Bronco and those of you who know they may only be 2 doors but are a cavernous vehicle!),overall I really like the unit and think it performs very well and would recommend it to others because it is stylish looks good and for the $ you get a radio,cd player,dvd player and a handsfree bluetooth unit,in closing,this is the 3rd radio I have ordered,(1st of this brand for this vehicle)so remain guarded and will update this posting as time goes by,but if you are looking for an all in one gift on a budget or for a gift for a child who has their 1st nice car,or for someone working from a truck or van all day,then this wont cost a bundle and will do all that they need.Now i am sure this will,in time,have checkered reviews, Boss,Pyle,Dual..............they all do,cant say how consistent quality control is,but this one,at present,is functioning just fine.............Update .............still working well but have added an amp to boost needed power.
