Sound Storm Laboratories has developed a number of solutions for the back seat entertainment of multiple passengers. This includes a selection of headrest monitors, overhead monitors, and a variety of accessories worthy of the SSL badge. The flagship headrest solution, the SH7CM, is equipped with a built-in multi-media disc player (DVD, DVD-R, CD, VCD, and MP3 compatible), a USB port, and an SD/MMC card slot, as well as auxiliary audio and video inputs. The SH7CM also has a built-in dual channel infrared transmitter. This is an important feature in situations where two passengers want to watch (and listen to) two different programs at the same time. The SH7CM also comes with three different color upholstery options (black, grey, and tan) in the same box. This provides maximum flexibility to the user enabling them to easily match the interior of their car - even to change cars without having to worry about transferring the SH7CM and having it not match their new car. Headrests with built-in monitors are becoming an increasingly popular solution among users who lease their vehicles and don’t want to cut in to the factory head rest. Simply remove the original headrest, replace it with the SH7CM (universal posts fit most cars), and enjoy mobile entertainment through the term of the lease. When the lease is over, simply replace the factory headrests and return the vehicle in its original state.

look nice but not so nice

i purchased 2 of these to put in my caddilac. i recieved them and installed them but when i went to turn them on one of them did not read any disc i put in it. the built in fm modulator in these would interfere with the radio stations even if it was set to off. so i figured i would send them back and get 2 new replacements. when i recieved the replacements one of them would not even power on and the other one worked but had the same issue with the built in fm modulator interfereing with the radio stations even when set to off. overall the units look very nice but obviously are not made very well.
