Product Description
The PLD76TN includes a pair of adjustable headrests with 7" TFT LCD screens, built-in DVD players, and a pair of wireless headphones. Sometimes kids can't agree on what they want to watch. With this pair of headrests, it's no longer a problem. With wireless headphones and separate monitors, two people can watch or play their own movie, TV show, or video game privately, without interrupting the other viewer, all while keeping the car peacefully silent. These headrests also include SD card and USB card readers, so you can play video clips and audio files without having to burn to a disc - just pop it in and push play. Region code 1, I dont think so.

I purchased this unit because of its good price and decent feedback. Got it quick and package was in good shape. Opened the box and attempted to find installation instructions, which did not exist. In the instruction manual it gives a poor illustration of how you should connect the red wire to the 12 volt power source. Installation was more difficult than others mentioned if you want to conceal all wires and for it to look professional. I am a DIY person, but if you are not expect to pay $150 for installation. Got them installed and they looked decent enough. I have black leather interior and they look almost factory. Popped in a dvd of Dora the esplorer and it worked great. Picture was good and the speakers on the screen worked enough for the back seat passengers to hear but not loud enough to annoy the front seat. Loaded everybody in and my kid asked to watch Finding Nemo so loaded that in and........nothing. So I put in toy story......nothing. I finally put in Tom and Jerry and it worked fine. I have come to the conclusion that region 1 coded dvd's would not work in the player. The dvd player would not play any of my movie dvd's but would play the tv episode dvd's. I called Pyle and they said it should work and I got a defective unit. I sent it back to amazon and they sent out another. The second unit had the exact same problem. I called pyle again and they said they did not know why it was not working. Their tech support is not so good as you might have guessed. I finally ended up ordering this same model without the dvd player and I am going to have to use a stand alone dvd player. I am disappointed they did not play dvd's the way they should. The headphones were very cheap and did not work very well. I never had an opportunity to try the video games, but the controller was very cheap in quality.Amazon was great in handling the situation. I cannot imagine if I would have ordered these from another online retailer.

As another reviewer stated, this player will not play most DVDs. I would not agree with the assessment that install is hard. This is a very easy install with worthless instructions. Do not buy!

INOP on arrival

Pyle PLD76BK Pair of Adjustable Headrests with Built-In 7-Inch TFT/LCD Monitor, DVD Player & IR/FM Transmitter (Black Color)I recived this for my 2004 gmc tan seat headrest for the kids in the back seat, It is a great concept with the zipper cover, but that is where it ends, both DVD players were not playing disc sometimes more NO than yes, and after having spent the money to have these installed for them not to work was sad. After all said and done should have gotten a higher quailty and would have been the same price.
