i brought it 3 weeks ago for my son because we would spend more than 10 hour in driving from Raleigh, NC to Disney World, FL at that time . Although it is just a monitor, I connected my iphone with it. So, I can have numerous video resources; and the most important thing is, the picture quality output from iphone to this monitor was excellent, compared with DVD players. In addition, I connected iphone audio output with auto aux input; so the audio quality of the movie was also amazing. My son loves this device.some concerns should be presented here. first, this headset with monitor is a little bit uncomfortable for the driver if driving for a long distance (I installed the headset on the driver-side seat.) because it does not fit the curve of my head-neck-back very well (My car is Honda CRV 2011). second, the most difficult thing is the installation (especially for the people who have no any basic idea about electric system of auto). The manual provided by BOSS has clearly shown me how to install. One hard work was to remove the back of seat. It depends on type/year/model of your car. I went to Honda dealer and they gave me the graph/instruction about how to do it. The next challenge was how to connect the electric system of my car with this monitor. this is NOT shown on the BOSS manual. I went to advanced autoparts to buy an add-in fuse and put it in the auto fuse box in order to connect 2 systems together. I spent 2 days to figure it out.in general, it is an excellent product, large screen, high picture quality, easy to install (if you follow my DIY instruction). :-)
